What will EDvention do that is different from what happens now?

EDvention will bring together multiple education, business, governmental and civic leaders to create regional goals and an action plan to increase talent, particularly math and science talent. Using data to drive decision making, EDvention will work with education, business, and governmental, civic and philanthropic leaders to identify areas where collaboration can yield better results than individual programs going it alone.

Strategically connecting programs through a comprehensive set of regional goals and a collaborative action plan, with a strong focus on math and science, can position the Miami Valley to thrive in the increasingly competitive global economy. In addition, this work will spur the emergence of bold new action that can be best accomplished through regional collaboration.
